Q: How Do You Store Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar?

A: Olive oil & balsamic vinegar should be stored in a cool dark place like a kitchen pantry or cabinet. It does not need to be refrigerated even after opening.  Olive oil should always be stored in a dark glass container or stainless steel to prevent damage from UV rays and light.

Q: What is the Shelf Life of Olive Oil?

A: Freshness is the number one key to great tasting olive oil. Olive oil should be consumed within one year of pressing the olives to ensure optimal flavor, aroma, and antioxidant content.

Q: Can I Replace Butter/Margarine with Olive Oil?

A: Absolutely! Olive oil can replace butter or margarine in any recipe. See conversion chart on the right.

1 teaspoon =  3/4 teaspoon
1 tablespoon = 2 1/4tsp
2 tablespoons = 1 1/2 tablespoons
1/4 cup = 3 tablespoons
1/3 cup = 1/4 cup
1/2 cup = 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons
2/3 cup = 1/2 cup
3/4 cup = 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon
